A victim has been rushed to hospital after being attacked by three masked men with weapons at a Dumbarton doorstep. ‌

The 49-year-old man answered the door of a property in Bellsmyre on Sunday October 5 at around 6.55am. He was then assaulted by three masked men who were armed with weapons . ‌

He was raced to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where his condition has been described as stable. ‌

Police Scotland have now launched a manhunt to find three white men who were dressed all in black.

Detective Constable Hanley, Clydebank CID, said: “The motive of this attack has yet to be established. The only description of the suspects at the moment are that they were all white and dressed all in black. ‌
