A 19-year-old from Mumbai, who once aimed for IIT, has become one of the youngest Indian founders to raise millions for an artificial intelligence startup in the US. Dhravya Shah, who describes himself as a “middle-class" teen, has raised $2.6 million (about Rs 23 crore) for his company, Supermemory, which focuses on giving AI systems a better long-term memory.

The funding round saw participation from several top names in the tech industry, including Google AI chief Jeff Dean, DeepMind’s Logan Kilpatrick, and executives from OpenAI, Meta, and Google. According to TechCrunch, the first round of investment was led by Susa Ventures, Browder Capital, and SF1.vc.
