A disciplined bowling attack, spearheaded by Henil Patel and Khilan Patel, enabled India U19 to bowl out Australia U19 for 135 runs, securing a narrow nine-run first-innings lead on the first day of the second Youth Test on Tuesday.

Right-arm pacer Henil Patel and left-arm spinner Khilan Patel each claimed three Australian wickets for 21 and 23 runs respectively, causing the home side to collapse, finishing their innings in 43.3 overs.

Wicketkeeper Alex Lee Young top-scored for Australia U19 with 66 off 108 balls, while captain Will Malajczuk and Yash Deshmukh contributed 10 and 22 runs respectively. All other batsmen failed to reach double digits.
