A man and his dogs have received medical treatment after they were injured in a collision in Maidstone. The victim, in his 20s, was walking his dogs when there was an incident on Wednesday, September 17.
Witnesses and dashcam footage are sought after officers were called at 4.40pm to the A20 Ashford Road, where the pedestrian was struck on a crossing next to Weavering Street. The collision involved a blue Cupra and was attended by officers along with ambulance crews.
The victim, aged in his 20s, was taken to a local hospital with several injuries. He has since been discharged.
His two dogs required veterinary care but survived. The driver stopped following the incident and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
