Bangor will be restoring two public bus routes to full service next week.
Starting Monday, the Hammond Street and Center Street routes will resume bus service every 30 minutes, which had been cut back to once an hour last month .
The city scaled back those routes, as well as Capehart, amid a driver shortage that has hampered the public bus service over the past few years.

Bangor has offered free training to close the driver gap and moved to a fixed-stop system .
The Community Connector is owned and operated by the city of Bangor and serves Bangor, Brewer, Hampden, Old Town, Orono, Veazie and the Unive
