The sold-out inaugural Ottawa Citizen Best Restaurants 2025 event brought together food lovers, chefs and philanthropists Monday, Oct. 6, at the Canadian Museum of Nature. The evening celebrated Ottawa’s thriving culinary scene, highlighting both acclaimed hot spots and hidden gems recognized by restaurant critic Peter Hum. Guests sampled creative bites from 13 of the area’s top chefs, paired with drinks from seven beverage partners, all in support of the Ottawa Food Bank. The lively cocktail-style event showcased the best flavours the capital has to offer while raising funds to help the food bank provide fresh and non-perishable food to more than 100 community programs across the city.
