Just when the Bihar Assembly election seemed heated enough, and no one thought it could get any hotter, came the buzz that LJP (RV) chief Chirag Paswan might team up with strategist-turned-politician Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj party, if seat-sharing talks with NDA partners collapsed.
As Bihar gears up for polls on November 6 and 11, the NDA, comprising BJP, JD(U), LJP(RV), and smaller allies like HAM(S), is grappling with tensions over seat-sharing.
Chirag Paswan, a Union Minister and heir to the late Ram Vilas Paswan, had demanded at least 40 "winnable" seats out of 243, citing the LJP(RV)'s 100% strike rate in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls where it emerged victorious in all the five seats it contested.
