Residents are invited to lace up their walking shoes and join the fight to end Alzheimer’s this weekend at the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, taking place Saturday at Waller Park.
The event, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association California Central Coast Chapter, is planning a day of unity, hope, and critical fundraising to support those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias, organizers say.
Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., followed by an opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m. The walk officially begins at 9:45 a.m., with two scenic routes (approximately 2-3 miles) available for participants of all abilities. Waller Park is located at 3107 Orcutt Rd.
