Around 1,900 bus drivers in Greater Manchester will walk out in a three day strike later this week , transport bosses have confirmed.
Drivers at Stagecoach and Metroline will take part in industrial action on Friday, Saturday and next Monday as a row over pay continues. It will means around 190 services, including some school buses, will be cancelled.
There will be no buses in Tameside , Trafford and Stockport on strike days, while services are expected to be disrupted in south Manchester and the city centre. Some services on longer routes in Rochdale will also be affected. The majority of buses in Bolton , Bury , Salford , and Wigan will run as normal.
