Alejandro Garnacho has received a glowing endorsement from a Chelsea team-mate, who has described the former Manchester United man as a "wonderful person."

The Argentina star is a controversial figure in some quarters, especially among anyone connected with United. His time at the club was marred by spats with Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim, both of whom found it challenging to consistently get the best out of him.

His United career concluded on a bitter note when he publicly voiced his dissatisfaction about starting the Europa League final on the bench and labelling their season as "s***." It came as no shock when he departed United ahead of the transfer deadline, with Chelsea shelling out £40million for his services.
