Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny was chosen as the halftime show performer for Super Bowl LX last month. President Donald Trump was asked about that decision Monday night and made it clear that he is not happy.

Trump addressed Bad Bunny’s selection during an interview with NEWSMAX.

“I never heard of him. I don’t know who he is. I don’t know why they’re doing it,” Donald Trump said. “It’s like, crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter that they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”

Super Bowl LX will be held Feb. 8, 2026 in Santa Clara, Calif., the home of the San Francisco 49ers.
