DES MOINES, Iowa — The Hy-Vee gas station in Mason City is one of 48 locations receiving state grants to enhance Iowa's biofuel infrastructure. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig announced that the Iowa Renewable Fuels Infrastructure Program (RFIP) Board approved over $1.86 million in new grants. Naig says these grants aim to provide drivers with more access to affordable, cleaner biofuels like E15 and biodiesel. The RFIP Board awarded the grants during its quarterly meeting on September 16.
