Crisis in Haryana Sikh Gurdwara committee as 17 members withdraw support from President Jhinda

Kurukshetra (Haryana), October 7, 2025 — The Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) plunged into turmoil today after 17 members announced the withdrawal of their support from Committee President Jagdish Singh Jhinda, demanding his resignation on moral grounds.

At a special meeting held at the committee’s head office, Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Chhevin in Kurukshetra, under the chairmanship of Senior Vice President Gurmeet Singh Ramsar, members accused Jhinda of “wrongdoing and arbitrariness” in the functioning of the committee.
