A 59-year-old Canadian man wanted for child molestation charges in Florida has been run to ground by the U.S. Marshals in a small town in France.

Cops say Daniel St. Pierre was arrested Thursday in Bayonne, France, on the country’s southwest Atlantic coast. He had been wanted in Hernando County and was the subject of an international manhunt.

The U.S. Marshals said St. Pierre was wanted for committing multiple offences relating to sexual molestation of a minor.

St. Pierre allegedly violated the terms of his pre-trial release in July 2025 by cutting off his ankle monitor and fleeing. Florida’s Fifth Judicial Circuit then issued a felony arrest warrant for him.
