KANSAS City Chiefs fans have urged for a star player to be benched after numerous mistakes in their Jacksonville Jaguars loss on primetime.

The Chiefs largely beat themselves in their 31-28 Monday Night Football Week 5 road loss to the Jaguars.

Kansas City had a 14-0 lead, but the team would kick itself in the foot with its self-inflicted mistakes.

The Chiefs committed a whopping 13 penalties for 109 yards.

And the first penalty was handed to offensive tackle Jaawan Taylor, who has had a rough go of things this season.

Taylor was called for illegal formation in the fifth play of the Chiefs' first drive.

Kansas City would punt three plays later.
