Alfred Hitchcock is remembered as the Master of Suspense, but not all of his monsters sprung exclusively from his mind. In 1960, Hitchcock's horror classic Psycho shocked the world with then-unseen levels of violence, gore, and undercurrents of eroticism. Notably, two years earlier, the crimes of Ed Gein were made public, down to every last gruesome detail.
