Construction on the Don Valley Parkway off-ramp is set to begin Oct. 15 and is expected to end in spring 2026 in advance of the FIFA World Cup, the city said.

Drivers should expect traffic delays, and additional impacts will include the closure of one eastbound lane on Eastern Avenue and one westbound lane on Richmond Street at Eastern Avenue, the city said in a news release.

It says there will also be intermittent overnight lane closures on the Don Valley Parkway.

The construction is part of the Ontario-Toronto New Deal that includes uploading the Gardiner and Don Valley Parkway to the province.
