LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- The 12-year-old girl who collided with a school bus in the northwest Las Vegas valley on Monday has died, according to police.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of the crash involving the 12-year-old girl, an SUV, and a school bus around 3:30 p.m. on West Tropical Parkway, near West Ann Roa.

The 12-year-old was riding westbound on Tropical Parkway west of Emerald Eagle Street in the bicycle lane. The crash happened when she collided with the school bus and was projected into an SUV and then fell onto the ground, police said. On Tuesday, LVMPD confirmed the 12-year-old had died from her injuries.

There were 55 students on the bus at the time of the crash, along with a 75-year-old bus driver.

No one on the bus was injured, and impairmen
