LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A 75-year-old motorcyclist died two days after a suspected DUI crash in the north Las Vegas valley.

Around 2:40 p.m., officers responded to the area of Ann Road and Old Grove Way near Decatur Boulevard after a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV, police said.

Evidence at the scene, witness statements, and surveillance footage showed that a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Ann Road while a Kia Sorento was attempting to make a left from a marked stop sign, police said.

The crash occurred when the driver of the Kia failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the motorcycle’s path, causing it to crash into the left side of the vehicle and the motorcyclist to be thrown into the road, according to Metro police.
