COTTONDALE, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A man is in custody with no bond after police say multiple vehicles and an apartment were shot in Cottondale Saturday.

Cordarius King, 35, was arrested Monday and charged with attempted murder and two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle.

At around 8 p.m. Saturday, Tuscaloosa Police and Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Cottondale Efficiency Apartments on Kyle Court for a shooting.

Authorities arrived to find multiple vehicles and an apartment had been shot into, leaving several people with minor injuries. Police said the injuries could have results from broken glass or shrapnel.

The Tuscaloosa County Violent Crimes Unit took over the investigation, leading to King’s arrest.

King is being held with no bond.
