A man whose flat window was peppered with bullets during a shooting in Salford says he has been left 'shaken up.'

A gunman opened fire on the property, which is said to contain two flats, on Lissadell Street in Salford last night (Monday, October 6).

Police said they were alerted to the incident around 9:25am this morning (October 7).

A cordon was put in place , with a row of properties near the junction with Broughton Road taped off.

There appeared to be a total of seven bullet holes in the upstairs window, the downstairs window, and the front door of a property.
