DALLAS — A Dallas police officer turned himself in in Harris County for a warrant for a misdemeanor harassment charge, officials say.
The Dallas Police Department confirmed officer Dekoven Joshlin turned himself in to the Harris County Sheriff's Department for a warrant from the Houston Police Department for harassment, a class B misdemeanor, according to a press release.
Joshlin was placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation, the Dallas Police Department said.
Joshlin has worked for the Dallas Police Department since May 2018 and is assigned to the Northwest Patrol Division, according to the department.
