Walker County will be hosting an event for residents to recycle their old tires for free this November.

Retire Your Tires Amnesty Day will be on Saturday, November 8, from 8:00am to 3:00pm at the Walker County Landfill on N. Marble Road.

Time to retire (and recycle) those tires for free in Catoosa Co. on October 11

Tire Amnesty Day will be from 8:00am to 12:00pm at Catoosa County Public Works on Shope Ridge Road in Ringgold.

If you can’t make it to the landfill, you can take advantage of a satellite drop-off location at the Rossville Public Works building near the ballpark off Ellis Road in north Walker County.

During the event, tires with wheel sizes 20-inches or smaller and ATV (all-terrain vehicle) tires will be accepted free of charge as long as they are:
