Marjorie “Margie” Neuger (nee Odess) died Oct. 3, 2025, at the age of 97.

She was married to Sanford Neuger (deceased) for 45 years and was the sister of Gertrude Ticktin, Helen Croce and Ethel Epstein, all deceased. Margie is survived by her son Howard (Sara), and grandchildren Julianna and Michael, to whom she was fondly known as “Gramma Chickie.”

A graduate of Glenville High School, Margie earned her bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University and a master’s degree and multiple teaching certificates from John Carroll University. Margie taught for many years both in Cleveland and in Los Angeles, and then as a substitute teacher in the greater Cleveland area for many more.
