TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Downtown Troy Business Improvement District has announced the participants in this year's Chowderfest. 19 restaurants will be clam-peting for the title of best chowder.

This year's Chowderfest will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Each chowder sample will come in a four-ounce cup and cost $2.

Throughout the event, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite chowder as part of a People's Choice competition -- last year's first-place winner was Bootleggers on Broadway with a roasted poblano and sausage chowder. Take a look below for this year's contenders:
