KENTWOOD , Mich. (WOOD) — A new home for teens who transition out of residential treatment programs is set to open in Kentwood Thursday.

Wedgwood Christian Services, a nonprofit offering behavioral health and social services, will open the Audere Transitional Living Program, a specialized treatment program for teens ages 15 to 18 who are moving from residential treatment to independent living.

Wedgwood first opened the 10-bedroom, nearly 8,000-square-foot facility in 2010. Since then, it has housed substance use recovery, stepdown and human trafficking survivor programs.
