A historic West Lothian castle has been taken over by a film crew with men spotted 'in kilts.'
Blankness Castle in Linlithgow is currently surrounded by cranes equipped with cameras as filming takes place from September 29 to October 19, 2025.
In images captured by Lesley Bissett Brown, the scenic spot loved by locals appears to be a hive of activity, with rumours swirling around the community about who is shooting at the site.
However, Historic Environment Scotland, who manage the site, have remained tight-lipped regarding the ongoing filming in the area.
They said: "Blackness Castle will be closed temporarily from 29 September - 19 October to allow for scheduled filming activity on site.
