GRENADA — Four juveniles have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 16-year-old Ayden Reno, a Grenada High School football player, authorities said.
Grenada Police said the suspects were taken into custody on Sept. 29, a week after officers responded to a shots fired call just before midnight on Sept. 22. Reno’s body was found in a wooded area near Leigh Avenue and was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was later sent to the state crime lab for autopsy.
Police identified the suspects as Lemarion Henderson and Ryan Spencer, both 18, along with two other suspects ages 15 and 16. Henderson and the two younger teens are charged with first-degree murder, while Spencer faces a charge of accessory after the fact, Grenada Police Chief George Douglas told reporters.
