PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Starting this month, a new music festival will highlight Portland-based musicians alongside the city’s very own symphony orchestra.

For the inaugural Sounds Like Portland festival, the Oregon Symphony will perform orchestral arrangements in tandem with performances from artists with local roots. Esperanza Spalding, M. Ward, Storm Large, Darrell Grant, The Decemberists, The Dandy Warhols and Caroline Shaw will all headline shows for the event that spans across three weeks.
