PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- U.S. Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem is expected to visit Portland on Tuesday, amid attempts by President Trump to deploy the National Guard in the Rose City on the heels of daily protests focused outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in South Portland.
On Tuesday morning, Portland police confirmed that Noem would visit the Rose City, although the timeline for her visit is still unknown.
