The Joe Flacco era is over in Cleveland six months after it began.

The Browns traded the veteran quarterback as well as a sixth-round draft pick to the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported .

The news comes after Flacco was benched for Cleveland’s Week 5 game against the Minnesota Vikings in favor of rookie Dillon Gabriel.

The Browns will receive a fifth-round pick.

Flacco appears to be QB1 for Cincinnati, who need some help in the quarterback department. The Bengals released Mike White on Tuesday, but have Jake Browning and Brett Rypien.
