YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- The co-defendant of a man sentenced last month to life in prison with no parole for a December 2022 shooting death was sentenced Tuesday in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.

Zachary Bair, 35, was sentenced to 10 to 13 and a half years in prison by Judge Anthony D’Apolito on a charge of involuntary manslaughter with a firearm specification.

Bair and Akeem Hargrove, 32, were charged with aggravated murder for the Dec. 22, 2022, shooting death of Devin Bell, 26. Bell was found shot to death about 2:35 a.m. at the Shell Station at 1907 South Ave. Hargrove was arrested a few days later. Police have not disclosed a motive.

Bair was charged almost a year after Hargrove.
