Talk about a team playing their best at the right time of the year.

Our Chicago Fire soccer team is doing just that, as they have surged in recent weeks and have now qualified to make the MLS playoffs—the first time for the squad since 2017.

A recent road win over Miami and star Lionel Messi was the clincher. They won that game 5-3, that coming after beating a tough Columbus team at home by the score of 2-0. A recent draw vs. Toronto, 2-2, kept the unbeaten streak alive.

The Fire, under first year coach Greg Berhalter and his new staff, have played well all season long, but are clearly saving their best for last.
