VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – An Orange County firefighter was put in jail last week after she was caught scattering dozens of opened tampons across her ex-boyfriend’s lawn, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.

In an arrest affidavit, deputies said they were called to the ex-boyfriend’s home on Thursday evening after he and his new partner discovered the tampons in their front yard.

“There were approximately 75 opened tampons in their yard, which were stained red as if they were possibly used,” the affidavit reads.

Investigators said the couple then reviewed their security camera, finding that a truck had approached the home at night earlier in the week.
