A hospital in the Inland Empire will discontinue its maternity ward services early next year.

Southwest Healthcare Corona Regional Medical Center has announced that its maternity department will close, effective Jan. 30, 2026.

“This decision was based on the decline in the number of births at Corona Regional over the past two years and the declining birth rate in the county, which is expected to continue,” the hospital said in a statement.

Patients who need maternity or delivery services after that date can seek care at nearby facilities, including: • Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center, 3865 Jackson St., Riverside • Riverside Community Hospital, 4445 Magnolia Ave., Riverside • Pomona Valley Medical Center, 1798 N. Garey Ave., Pomona • Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs
