LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Authorities in Louisa County are investigating an assault that left four people injured.

Louisa County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call from someone in distress reporting an ongoing assault at a home, shortly before 9 p.m. on October 6.

Deputies from the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office and paramedics responded immediately to the scene in the 15000 block of Jefferson Highway, Louisa, Virginia.

Two adult males, one juvenile male, and one adult female were injured as a result of the incident.

One of the adult male victims sustained life-threatening injuries consistent with a stab wound. He was airlifted from the scene for emergency medical treatment.

The remaining victims had less serious injuries that were treated at the scene.
