An incident in Orillia on September 27th has resulted in kidnapping and attempted murder charges.

Police were called to suspicious activity on Colborne Street East around 9 that night.

A male was found in an abandoned building suffering from serious injuries. Five men were arrested in the building.

All five charged are from the GTA and charges include attempted murder, kidnapping, forcible confinement, firearms offences and uttering threats.

The accused were in an Orillia courtroom today.(Oct 7)
