OKLAHOMA CITY — The City Council hired consultants Tuesday to help create a strategic development plan for the downtown and Bricktown areas.

The plan will guide land use and private development decisions to promote a complementary and cohesive downtown. Such elements may include public infrastructure, transit options, parking concerns and market absorption considerations of the various sites being developed.
