CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State football’s historically rough start to the season has now had an impact on the recruiting trail. On Tuesday three-star quarterback Deagan Rose officially decommitted from the Beavers. The Clovis, California, prospect had been OSU’s highest-rated commit for the 2026 class.
Rose, who is ranked No. 34 among quarterbacks and No. 577 overall in the 247Sports composite rankings announced his decommitment on X.
“I would like to thank Oregon State University and the entire football staff for welcoming and supporting me in every way to their organization,” he wrote.
Rose had been committed to the Beavers since July 2024 and was noted by analysts as “one of the best pure throwers in the West region.”
