NEW HAMPSHIRE —

Gov. Andy Beshear was visiting New Hampshire on Tuesday and when asked about a future run for president, he said he would consider it.

Beshear's second term as governor is up in 2027 and he won't be able to seek re-election due to term limits.

He said his current focus is helping Democrats in New Hampshire and across the country get elected in 2026. But his future after that is a bit more unclear.

"Well right now I’m trying to be that reasonable voice in the chaos; then next year my goal is to win governor's races all across the United States. After that I'll sit down with my family and we'll consider it. What we'll consider is who is the best candidate to heal this country," he said.
