MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A 31-year-old suspect was arrested after allegedly breaking into a car dealership on Madison’s east side, the Madison Police Department said Tuesday.
Police were called to the 1500 block of North Stoughton Road around 11:50 p.m. Monday, where they found broken glass from a side window of the car dealership.
Police reported noticing the suspect inside the dealership holding a sledgehammer.
The 31-year-old suspect was arrested and faces charges of burglary, multiple counts of attempted burglary, multiple counts of criminal damage to property, possession of burglarious tools, multiple counts of felony bail jumping, and two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping.
