On Sept. 26, at around 11:44 a.m., officers responded to the elementary school regarding a reported incident. When officers arrived at the scene, they contacted the principal, who provided them with an overview of the incident.

According to IPD, the incident involved an unknown man giving grapes to kindergarten and first-grade students over the fence at the playground. Officers took an initial report, and a detective was assigned to this case.
