POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - The Polk County Sheriff’s Office found a large amount of marijuana and arrested a Livingston man after executing a search warrant on Monday night.
Charles William Lindsey, 64, has been charged with possession of marijuana.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office said a night shift sergeant received a tip about a person in the Wild Country subdivision who was in possession of a large amount of marijuana being shipped from out of state.
The sergeant verified the information and got a search warrant, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies from the patrol division, along with narcotics detectives, then executed the warrant and found about 2.25 pounds of marijuana inside the home.
