A Longview man is set to be recommitted to a state hospital 10 years after his mother’s murder. Daniel Kadima was found not guilty in 2016 by reason of insanity in the murder of his mother, Hauwa Esther Kadima, 61, who was found to have died of blunt force trauma to the head with lacerations to her brain the year before. He was deemed incompetent to stand trial.
