WYTHEVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - From the number of points to fans in the stands, the Blue Ridge Bobcats in Wytheville scored numbers they had never seen before last season.
With hockey season almost here, they’re setting their sights even higher.
Like most of his teammates, Carson Andreoli has been playing hockey for as long as he can remember.
“I was on skates at the age of one and playing by the age of two,” he said.
But last season with was a dream come true in the 27 year-olds hockey career.
The left-wing and Assistant Captain skated alongside his Blue Ridge Bobcats teammates in the first round of the minor league playoffs, a first for the team and Andreoli. They didn’t advance, but Andreoli said it set them up for success.
