DALLAS — Dallas Area Rapid Transit Police tell WFAA that a 27-year-old man has been arrested for the shooting death of another passenger on board a DART train late Sunday night. It's the second deadly shooting on a DART train in a week.

The initial report from a DART spokesperson after the incident late Sunday night at the Pearl/Arts District Station indicated that a suspect was in custody. The DART police chief then corrected that statement on Monday , telling WFAA at the time that the search for a suspect continued.

But late Tuesday afternoon, DART announced the arrest of Harrington Andrew Hurdle, 27, and that he has been booked into the Dallas County Jail in connection with a murder charge from Sunday, Oct. 5.
