Police sought the public’s help Tuesday in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run near the University of Southern California that left a pedestrian injured earlier this month.
The collision occurred around 10:10 p.m. Oct. 1 as the pedestrian was walking in a marked crosswalk at Vermont Avenue and 36th Street, when a dark-colored sedan struck the victim and fled the scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The suspect remains at large, and no description was available, police said.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered by the city for information leading to the identity, arrest and conviction of the driver.
