YOUNGSTOWN As the government shutdown stretches on in its seventh day, food banks across the country are dealing with dwindling funds and a growing need.

With federal workers currently out of a job, more are finding themselves at community pantries as they try to make ends meet. 21 News caught up with Second Harvest Food Bank to see what they've been seeing during the shutdown.

Renee Fuller with Second Harvest says the food bank has not received any calls from federal workers out of a job yet, but says if the shutdown continues for much longer, that could change.

Fuller says the food bank is doing its best to have food stocked up and ready for those in need during this time.
