A 35-year-old man strangled and beat a woman with a tow hitch in his pickup truck when she refused to spend more time with him following a sex act in Anaheim, a prosecutor told jurors Tuesday, while the defendant’s attorney said his client admits killing her but questioned his legal liability for what happened.

Abdulaziz Munther Alubidy is charged with murder with a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a deadly weapon. Alubidy is accused of killing 56-year-old Jessie Villesca on July 30, 2020.
