CROWN POINT — An East Chicago man faces a murder charge and several other high-level felonies in connection to the death of a Hammond woman on Sunday who had a protection order against him.
Miguel Angel Terry, 31, was charged Tuesday with murder, aggravated battery, stalking where the defendant violates a protective order, domestic battery resulting in serious injury, domestic battery in violation of a protection order, strangulation, stalking, resisting law enforcement, auto theft and multiple misdemeanors.
He is in custody at the Lake County Jail without bail, online court records show.
